OREBIC is a small town located at the southern part of Peljašac penninsula just accross medienal town Korcula, under the mountine St. Eliah, 961m high. It is surroundedwith a centuries old pine-trees forrest.
During a history Orebic was known as a town of sailship captain, the name is still used. There is a beautiful promenade allong the coast among many gorgeous old captain houses.In the center you can visit maritime museum with a wooden models of sailships.
Pelješac peninsula is known for its quality wines. The best red wine is ?Dingac?(award winner 2003. in Paris) and ?Postup?.
You can experience the traditional lifeof inhabitans in a home restaurants in the village that offers a traditional meals and domestic wines.
