350 inhabitants and offers you accommodation in more than 1000 beds of private accommodation,
rooms and hotel Plaza.There are also restaurants,coffee-bars,supermarket,post-office,tourist office.
Excursions to neighbouring islands and Nature Park Biokovo are also part of the offer. The Biokovo
Mountain was declared a nature park,with a total area of 19550 ha,in 1981 with top Sv. Jure /1762 m
due to its unique geomorphology, distinct beauty of the landscape and an extraordinary biological
diversity. The main entrance to the Biokovo Nature Park is in the area of the Staza notch,at the
8th km of the Drasnice - Vrgorac state road. It is marked by traffic signs and tourist information

Drasnice. Take the old road from Drasnice to old village. Towards the east and close to the old school go through the old abandoned quarry and further through the olive groves to the abandoned hamlet called Kolednik. Continue using the fire prevention way near the St. Mihovils church to
Igrane. From Igrane follow the seaside and go over Komoljaca to Drasnice. It takes 3 hours to see all the places weight of the path 1. On this way, in the old village, there are four churches:
St.Nikola,St.Stipan, St.Juraj and St.Kate. The 18th century baroque church of St. George was
destroyed in an earthquake, and in its place a new one is built, incorporating some of the parts of the old church. Where the Mountain emerges from the azure sea ! You will find Drasnice.
