For our active guests who visit Rovanjska and enjoy bike riding there are paths which will take you on a ride along Adriatic Sea or the mountains around Rovanjska
Beach volleyball is also available on our sand beach area, which you can also enjoy the days visiting Rovanjska. The exact year Rovanjska was founded is not know but certainly dates from the early Middle Ages. as seen by the historical, Old-Croatian church, Saint George ( Sv. Jurja- between the ninth and eleventh centuries).One more attraction of this coastal town is the unique speleological discovery: The Modric Cave (Modric Špilja).The Modric Cave is a protected natural cave which offers you pleasure and fulfilment when experienced! This natural ecological experience is a wonderful and magnificent unforgetable adventure to see.
Rovanjska is located just off the Zagreb-Split highway, at the Maslenica exit, just a few hundred meters northwest from the booths. This accessibility allows for a quick and safe connection between Rovanjska and all other destinations in the area.
The town offers several grocery and general stores, restaurants and coffee houses. Near to Rovanjska are national parks: "Kornati", "Paklenica","Canyon of river Zrmanja".We offer our assistance in booking any day trips for our guests.
Rovanjska is 20 minutes from Zadar. The Sea Organs are a part of Zadar, where the sounds are produced by the waves. Next to the Sea Organs, shines the Greeting to the Sun!!! The Greetings to the Sun consist of three hundred multi-layerd glass plates placed on the some level with the stone paved waterfront in the shape of a 22-meter diameter circle.
