Welcome to a beautiful Premantura Croatia old, village situated in the most southern part of penisula Istria deep into Adriaric sea with lighthose Porer at the end.
The long,narrow penisula of Kamenjak gives Premantura its most recognizable characteristic and is 10km long and 2.5 km wide.This part is protected area full of endemc plants, some very rare, birds and zoological speciies. Along the costline are situated marvelous valeys and beaches all of them diferent facing east, south or west, where any one can find place according own preference.
On its flat stone plateuos, Romans and later on, Napoleon's soldiers used to dry small fishes for food.
Penisola of Kamenjak is sarounded with several small islands with a beautiful beaches and crystaline blue-green sea. On one of them there is footprint of dinosaur.
In the village there are several stores where you will find all you need. Vegetable and fruits are avaiable too at the small maket place.
Restorants several of them, with delicius mediteraen food, fresh fish and crabs are famous and well-known.
The Crab Festival, May 1st and feast of San. Lawrence,patron of Premantura Croatia, celebrated at 10th August with small fishes are very delightful.
Sweet-shops are very characteristic with sellers acrobatic skill to play with ice-ball. to entertain guests.
