The Island of Hvar has an Adriatic climate, warm summers, mild winters and a large number of sunny days, which is favorable for the cultivation of vineyards. The early beginnings of vine cultivation are connected with the arrival of the Greeks in the IV ct. BC. Today there is a growing interest in high quality domestic wines like Plavac, Bogdanusa, and many others. There is a beautiful vineyard close to our house in Zavala

The visitors on Island can found or by herbs and plants growing on the Island of Hvar, especially those from which essential oils are extracted (chamomile, thyme, lavender and rosemary).
Grapceva cave is dating back to the Neolithic Period, and one of the oldest discoveries in the Adriatic and the Mediterranean. It is situated 239 m above sea level and was the cultish place of a Neolithic Islander. The cave consists of a small hall and a larger one surrounded by hallways and chambers. The towering stalactites and stalagmites that decorate the cave.
Humac, once a shepherds' settlement ,located 7 km east from Jelsa.There is a view of the valleys and headlands on the west side of the Island, yet also providing a view of the Island of Brac and the coastline of Makarska.The houses of Humac are well preserved, simple and made of stone. They belong to a unique rural type of architecture. There is an ambiance restaurant open to guests during the summer.
When you want to find an accommodation in Zavala you mast to go from Pitve.Thes village -old rural architecture - small village squares, narrow streets and households. Pitve provides the most magnificent view of the large valley, the Island of Brac, the Hvar channel, Jelsa, the Mt. Biokovo and the Makarska coastline.
The village of Zavala is situated on the south side of the Island. From there you can see the small Island of Scedro as well as the Island of Korcula and many small, pebble beaches. The guests, traveling alone or in the company of their families, will be to enjoy a truly unforgettable experience of swimming in a crystal, blue sea.

We have three apartments with a parking space
all apartments have separate entrance.
The apartments can use a wash machine.
App. A *** (4+1 - 57m²): two bedrooms, living room with a kitchen, a bathroom and a garden with a grill. There is a TV, and complete equipped kitchen.
App. B*** (2+2 - 46m²): one bedroom, a living room with two sofas and TV, a balcony, a kitchen and a bathroom. From the balcony, there is a beautiful view on the forest and the sea.
App. C*** (2+1 - 26m²): This is apartment - studio with a double bed, a small bathroom, a kitchen, one sofa, TV, and small back yard. The gusts from app. B and app. C can use big grill.
App. C is beautiful for young people.
